MUSIC:
You wanna move, you gotta move, you love to move…

(segues into…)

RAP V/O:
That seat you're sittin' on? Gotta give that thing a rest

It's sick of being sat on, and it's starting to pro-test

All of us gotta get moving – not just the sports fanatics

For an hour or more a day, ain't nothing too traumatic

No need to overdo it, or be no tri-ath-leet

Just move it baby, move it, and get up on your feet!

MUSIC:
Ya gotta move! Etc.

You gotta get up and move, get out and take a hike,

‘Cos whatever you're sittin' on, that thing is goin' on strike!

For an hour or more a day, your chair is goin' A-WOL

Ain't nothin' you can do, so get on out and play ball.

You don't have to bust a gut, or be a fitness nut,

It really don't matter what, just get up off your (beep!)…

Healthy kids are active kids. And most kids love being active. But sometimes they need a little encouragement to get an hour or more of moderate to vigorous activity every day. Look for activities you can enjoy together. That way you can provide your kids with a valuable role model. Encourage your kids to walk more, or ride their bikes. And try limiting their time in front of the TV or computer to no more than two hours a day. For more information go to healthyactive.gov.au
