Demonstration Schools


Additional one-off funding of $80,000 (GST exclusive) over two years has been provided to seven Demonstration Schools which are located in metropolitan areas in each state and territory (except Victoria, which has an existing equivalent demonstration school at Collingwood College) to increase accessibility for interested schools to visit and a training centre for schools joining the Program.

Viewing the Program in action is one of the best ways for interested schools to understand the benefits of engaging children in pleasurable food education, through growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh food.
