Active After-school Communities
The government will spend $90 million over four years to establish an after-school physical activity program known as Active After-School Communities. This program will provide Australian families with a convenient and practical opportunity to support the healthy development of their primary school aged children (five to 12 years). It will be managed by the Department of Communications, Information Technology and The Arts (DCITA), Australian Sports Commission (ASC).Fact sheet (PDF 55 KB)
